Why this listing freezes a $50 deposit. When a buyer pays for your number, they are trusting that you will still be there to complete the transfer. The deposit — frozen from your Available balance, returned in full when you delist or the sale completes — is what protects them if a seller takes the money and disappears, or stops cooperating with the handover.
